Rustic Roots produces handcrafted sauces, chutneys, and condiments made in small batches on our Bathurst homestead. All products are made with care, using homegrown or locally sourced ingredients.

2. Ordering and Payment

All orders placed through this website are subject to product availability and confirmation of payment.
We use secure third-party payment gateways to process payments. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our website.

3. Delivery & Shipping

We partner with trusted third-party couriers to deliver your order.
Once your parcel has been handed over to the courier, delivery timelines and handling are outside of our direct control.

You will receive tracking information (where applicable) and may contact the courier directly for delivery updates.

4. Damages During Delivery

We take great care to package all products securely.
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours with photos of:

The damaged item

The packaging

The courier label

We will assist with a replacement or solution wherever possible. Please note: final approval for damage claims may depend on the courier’s policies, as they are a third-party service.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of food products, we cannot accept returns once a product has been opened.

Refunds or replacements may be offered in the following situations:

Products damaged during delivery

Incorrect items received

Quality concerns (assessed case by case)

To request assistance, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Rustic Roots reserves the right to request proof of purchase and supporting photos.

6. Allergies & Ingredient Information

Our products are made in a kitchen where nuts and other allergens may be present.
While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).

If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel or correct the order.
